Neuroscience: Rssb To Introduce 5th Option In All Its Exams | Jaipur News

Jaipur: In order to curb cases of paper leaks and tampering of OMR sheets, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) will keep the additional fifth option of ‘question not attempted’ for candidates from now, said officials on Monday. This is being done on the lines of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) exams, said officials. A notification on how recruitment exams will be conducted has been issued so that candidates can prepare accordingly.
Officials said that for every question, five options will be given where four options will be related to the question while the fifth option will be question not attempted, which can be selected by candidates in case they do not wish to attempt the question. The answers in the OMR sheet must be marked with blue ball point pen.
If candidates do not mark any of the five options for the question, then negative marking of 1/3 marks will be done for such questions, said officials. If candidates do not select any option in more than 10% of the questions, then they will be disqualified from the examination.
Candidates will also be given 10 minutes extra to check their answer sheets in case they have missed marking options in any of the questions.
Officials said that candidates will also get a copy of the OMR sheet in which they mark the answers, which will be signed by both the candidate and the invigilator to ensure transparency.
