Newly Married Man, Child Die In Separate Accidents In Barmer | Jaipur News
JAISALMER: Two people were died in two separate accidents in Barmer on Thursday.
In the first incident, a newly-married man Shankar Lal (21) had gone to drop his wife at her parents house. While returning, he was hit by a Bolero camper.
He was lying on the road for 1.5 hours. He was later shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. His body is kept at the mortuary. The driver fled. Lal was a second year BA student in a government college and was also working in making steel railings in Dhorimanna, police said.
In another accident, at Khari bus stand seven-year-old Govind Ram was getting down from a bus when a bike hit him and he was immediately taken to Sedwa Hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was a resident of Dhorimanna and had come to the bus stand to go to his maternal grandparents house. Police are investigating the case.
