‘no Need Of Guarantee For Loans From Sc/st Co-op’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Social justice and empowerment minister Tikaram Jully launched a portal for filling loan application forms for the financial year 2023-24 of Rajasthan Scheduled Castes, Tribes Finance and Development Cooperative Corporation Limited. He said that the guarantee of government employees has been done away with for loans.

The minister said that loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh are sanctioned to needy persons on the portal. The corporation aims to disburse loans of more than Rs 200 crore to more than 12,000 people. From today, for the financial year 2023-24, people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, safai karmacharis, specially abled, and other backward classes can apply for loans online, he said.
Jully said that applying online through the portal will bring transparency. In the era of Information Technology, the deprived and needy sections are getting pensions, scholarships, etc, directly in their accounts. The state government is giving social security pensions to about 94 lakh pensioners and the pension is being approved in just two minutes through an online process.
