Jaipur: The state’s finance department on Friday issued a circular asking the state government employees – appointed on and after January 1, 2004 and have withdrawn money under the New Pension Scheme (NPS) between April 1, 2022 and August 28, 2022 – to return the money by June 30, 2023. The date has been extended from March 31, 2023. The old pension scheme (OPS) was restored in Rajasthan from April 1. “We are thankful to the state government for extending the date for depositing the money. Our team made a request in this regard at the chief minister’s residence,” said Vinod Kumar, state coordinator, New Pension Scheme Employees’ Federation of Rajasthan.
