Nwr: Nwr Adds Special Trains To Ease Huge Rush For Holi | Jaipur News

Jaipur: To cater to the high passenger rush ahead of Holi, North Western Railway (NWR) has added 31 pairs of trains and 69 additional coaches of different categories.
Officials said that in most of the trains additional coaches have been added for whole March.
Additional coaches have been added on routes like Jodhpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus, Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Delhi Sarai-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai, Hisar-Coimbatore-Hisar, Bikaner-Dadar-Bikaner, Indore-Jodhpur, Bikaner-Kolkata, Bikaner-Puri, Sabarmati-Jaisalmer among others.
New train service between Kota-Ahmedabad: The spokesperson of NWR on Wednesday said that a new bi-weekly express train service is being started from Friday between Kota-Asarwa (Ahmedabad). The train number 19822 will leave from Kota at 6.45pm every Friday and Tuesday and reach Asarwa at 6am the next day.
Similarly, train number 19821 Asarwa (Ahmedabad) – Kota bi-weekly train service will leave from Asarwa every Saturday and Wednesday at 9am and will reach Kota at 8:40pm with effect from March 4.
This train service will stop at Bundi, Mandalgarh, Parsoli, Bassi Berisal, Chanderiya, Kapasan, Fatehnagar, Mavli, Ranapratapnagar, Udaipur, Jawar, Jaisamand Road, Dungarpur, Lusadiya, Raigarh Road, Himmatnagar, Nandol Dahegam and Sardargram stations en route.
Free travel for women in RSRTC buses on Women’s Day: The state government on Wednesday said that all girls and women in the state will be able to travel for free in all ordinary and express buses of RSRTC on March 8 on International Women’s Day. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given his consent to this proposal. It is estimated that around 8.50 lakh girls and women will avail this free transport service also government will bear the cost of around Rs 7.50 crore rupees to provide this free service.
