Nwr: Nwr Traffic Inspector Held With ₹5k Bribe | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a traffic inspector of North Western Railways (NWR) posted at Bandikui on Jaipur-Delhi route for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000.
He had demanded the bribe from the complainant in lieu of not initiating any departmental action against him in a case.
CBI officials on Tuesday stated that a complainant approached the officials of the bureau and told them that the accused identified as Om Prakash Sharma was demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000.
“Based on the complaint a verification was done and it was followed by a trap in which the accused was arrested for demanding and accepting the bribe,” said CBI spokesman RC Joshi. TNN
