Judicial Assistant Exam: Hc Directs To Prepare Fresh Selection List In Judicial Assistant Exam 2022 |
Jaipur: A division bench of the high court has directed the HC administration to give appointment to reserved category candidates who have not taken any special advantage in the recruitment and obtained more marks than the general category candidates in the Junior Judicial Assistant exam 2022. The court has also asked for a category-wise list directing that they should be included for typing speed and efficiency test. The bench comprising Justice MM Srivastava and Justice Praveer Bhatnagar gave this direction on a petition filed by Mahipal Yadav and 1,000 other candidates. The court clarified that if the reserved category candidates come in the merit list of general category or their own category, then they should be given appointment. “During this period, if the previously appointed general category candidates are not included in the cut-off list and there are no vacant posts, then their services should be terminated,” said the court. The HC administration had conducted a written examination and released category-wise cut-off list of successful candidates for the typing test on May 1, 2023. TNN

Over a lakh Marathas march in Sangli for reservation under OBC category
Over a lakh members of the Maratha community marched in Sangli city, demanding reservation through the Other Backward Class (OBC) quota. The rally was organized by the Sakal Maratha Samaj of Sangli and saw participation from girls and women. The community has decided to seek reservation through the OBC category after studying the Gaikwad Commission’s recommendations. Leaders from various political parties also participated in the rally. The Mali community in Maharashtra is protesting against including Marathas in the OBC quota, while Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange has called off his hunger strike, with the Sakal Maratha Samaj planning to start an indefinite hunger strike. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured the OBC and Kunbi communities that their reservation will not be affected by the Maratha reservation.
