OMG 2 And Gadar 2 movie review and release LIVE Updates: Akshay Kumar Delivers A ‘Path-Breaking’ Film On Sex Education

In a doubly whammy for Bollywood, two of the biggest movies of the year will hit cinemas today, interestingly, both sequels. Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has been in the news for quite some time and after some back and forth by the CBFC, the movie has been cleared for release with an ‘A’ certificate and multiple cuts, including a change of character for Akshay Kumar – from playing Lord Shiva to now his messenger. On the other hand, nostalgia rides high with Gadar 2 as Sunny Deol as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel as Sakeena return to screen after 22 years! The lead stars of the movie have been promoting the same throughout the country, even visiting the Wagah border to witness the Attari–Wagah border ceremony. While the advance bookings of both the movies have taken a decent lead, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 scored an edge over OMG 2, in some parts of the country. While OMG 2 is directed by Amit Rai and co-stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in key roles, Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma.
