OnePlus Open’s design and specs surface online ahead of official launch

OnePlus is all set to launch its first foldable smartphone — OnePlus Open in India. The company has scheduled the launch event for October 19, where it will unveil OnePlus Open its foldable smartphone. However, ahead of the official launch the likely design and specs of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone has surfaced online.

Popular tipster Max Jambor has posted the likely design and specs of the upcoming OnePlus Open smartphone on X (formerly known as Twitter).

As per the images leaked online, the yet-to-launch OnePlus smartphone is said to sport a sleek design. The smartphone is said to house a circular camera module which will consist of Hasselblad powered triple rear camera setup. Outside the camera module, the rear panel will have a small LED flash. The back panel will also have a OnePlus branding.
The right side of the smartphone will consist of the volume rockers and power button. The famous OnePlus slider will be placed on the left.
Coming to the specifications, the OnePlus Open is said to sport a 6.31-inch external display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is tipped to come with a 7.82-inch main display. The leak also suggests that both the displays of the smartphone will offer peak brightness of 2800 nits. The main screen is rumoured to have ultra thin glass.
The upcoming foldable smartphone from OnePlus is expected to come with triple spatial speakers. The smartphone is said to pack 16GB of RAM and run OxygenOS 13.2.
The leakster also suggests that the smartphone may come in two colour options— Voyager Black and Emeral Dusk.
