Jaisalmer: Barmer police arrested 348 criminals and seized 71.5 kg doda post, 1.80gm MD, 1 pistol, 35 litres country liquor, 286 pouches of liquor and 18 suspicious vehicles under Operation Vajrapat-2, launched on late Monday night. On the directions of SP Digant Anand, 82 police teams including 364 officers and jawans raided 412 places.
Anand said that the teams detained 348 criminals and recovered 71.5 kg doda post worth Rs 2 lakh from Bhuraram, a resident of Asada. Balotra police arrested Imran, a resident of Balotra, with a pistol. Also, 18 vehicles were seized including 3 cars and 3 Bolero jeeps. TNN
