Pakistan: 10-day Msp Adhikar Yatra Culminates | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The 10-day MSP Adhikar Yatra of Rajasthan farmers, under the banner of Kisan Mahapanchayat, came to an end in Jaipur on Saturday evening.
The farmers embarked on a 10-day yatra, under the leadership of farmer leader Rampal Jat, from Jaipur, on August 24, to Mumbai and back to the city to create awareness among people and politicians about legalising MSP of agricultural produce in India. The farmers may meet officials of the state government over MSP on Sunday or Monday.
The farmers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra had submitted a memorandum and a booklet, named – Who will give MSP? – to the representatives of political parties under the INDIA alliance, a group of 28 opposition parties, via Mumbai Police on Thursday, and demanded legalising minimum support price (MSP) of agricultural produce in states where they were in the government.
However, the farmers couldn’t meet the leaders of INDIA alliance due to security reasons as cited by the police.
