Maoists kidnap, kill deputy sarpanch in Chhattisgarh
Maoists murdered deputy sarpanch Ramsu Kachlam in a kangaroo court in a forest. The family and village were terrified and didn’t report the death. They claimed he died of a snakebite. Fear looms over Kandadi village in Chhote Bethiya, a hotbed of insurgency. This is the same district where Maoists killed three villagers before PM Narendra Modi’s rally. Ramsu was dragged from his home and murdered in the forest by senior cadres.
