Paper Leak: Paper Leak: Ed Files Chargesheet Against Katara, Two Others | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday filed a chargesheet in the money laundering case related to the paper leak of grade II teacher’s recruitment exam against three of the accused arrested by the agency, earlier. The chargesheet was filed against three persons including former RPSC member Babulal Katara, Anil Meena and Bhupendra Saran.
The chargesheet was filed at the special court dealing with Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) cases.
A team of ED reached the court on Thursday afternoon and submitted the chargesheet.
Also the agency has left investigation pending against at least 12 persons including Suresh Dhaka who is still on the run and has yet not been arrested.
“We have filed a charge-sheet under section 44 of PMLA act against the three accused including Babulal Katara, Anil Meena and Bhupendra Saran. Since they were arrested in the month of September we had to file a chargesheet within 60 days after the arrest,” said an ED officer on the condition of anonymity.
In its investigation, ED revealed that at least 180 candidates were given the question papers after being charged Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh each. ED, so far, has seized nearly Rs 3.11 crore in this case.
“’Bhupendra Saran in connivance with other persons leaked the question paper of general knowledge of senior teacher grade II competitive examination, 2022 which was scheduled to be conducted by RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commission) on December 21, 2022. We have also elaborated the roles of the three accused in the chargesheet. Katara sold the paper to Meena who further distributed it to others in the syndicated racket,” said an ED officer.
ED on September 15 had arrested suspended member of RPSC Babulal Katara and Anil Kumar alias Sher Singh Meena.
Later on October 10, ED had arrested Bhupendra Saran in this case. During then all the three were interrogated in a remand of nearly 3 days by the teams of ED. Earlier in April, ED had registered a case of PMLA following the case registered by the Rajasthan police.

He is wanted for several terror activities, including the murders of BJP state secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar in 2018. In a contrasting move, Saroori’s son, Adnan, hoisted the Indian flag and expressed regret for his father’s actions.
NIA files supplementary chargesheet against 3 accused of espousing and disseminating PFIs ideology
The NIA has filed a supplementary chargesheet against three individuals accused of promoting the extremist ideology of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and organizing weapons training camps in Tamil Nadu. They were allegedly training PFI cadres to target and attack those opposing the PFI ideology. In a separate case, two individuals were arrested in Kota for inciting religious hatred and raising funds for terrorist acts. The PFI collected funds under the guise of Zakat charity which were instead used to support weapons trainers and training workshops.
