Playstation Portal: PlayStation Portal launch details are out: Date, price, features and more

In May this year, Sony gave a peek at PlayStation Portal remote player, its dedicated PS5 remote play device. About 10 days ago, the company announced the pricing of the device and now it has made the launch date official.
According to Sony, the PlayStation Portal remote player will launch in select markets on November 15. The device is available for pre-order in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Furthermore, starting September 29, PlayStation Portal remote player can also be pre-ordered from other select retailers in these countries, as well as Canada and Japan.
Sony said that the details about the launch and sale in other countries will be announced at a later date.

PlayStation Portal remote player is priced at $199.99, EUR 219.99, GBP 199.99 and 29.980 YEN.

Sony says that PlayStation Portal brings the PS5 experience to the palm of gamers’ hands.
“PlayStation Portal is the perfect device for gamers in households where they might need to share their living room TV or simply want to play PS5 games in another room of the house. PlayStation Portal will connect remotely to your PS5 over Wi-Fi, so you’ll be able to swiftly jump from playing on your PS5 to your PlayStation Portal,” the company said.
Gamers can play supported games on PlayStation Portal that are installed on gamers’ PS5 consoles and use the Dualsense controller. There is a 3.5mm audio jack for wired audio.
PS VR2 games, which require the headset, and games that are streamed through PlayStation Plus Premium’s cloud streaming, are not supported.
Sony Pulse audio devices
Sony also announced Pulse audio devices: Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and Pulse Elite, a new PlayStation over-the-ear wireless headset. Both Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore deliver low latency lossless audio from PS5 and PlayStation Portal using our new PlayStation Link wireless technology.
