Pm-daksh: Not One Of 295 Trained Found A Job | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: Under the Pradhan Mantri-Dakshata Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi Yojana (PM-Daksh) scheme, not a single person got full-time employment in Jaipur in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category out of 295 persons graduated from various skill training programmes in 2022-23 (as on March 28), data from the social justice and empowerment ministry has revealed.
It stated out of 495 persons trained under the SC category in 2022-33, only 79 (15.9%) got full-time employment in Rajasthan’s four districts. In Alwar, out of 90 trained, 79 got full-time employment. However, in Barmer, out of 20 persons trained, not a single got employed and out of 90 trained in Churu, nobody got employed, informed minister of state for social justice and empowerment Pratima Bhoumik while replying to an unstarred question in Lok Sabha on March 28. The question was raised by Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari.
In the OBC (other backward class), EBC (economically backward class) and DNT (denotified tribe) category, out of 388 trained in 2022-23, only 131 (33.7%) got full-time employment in 2022-23. While 63 (130 trained) persons were employed in Jaipur, 50 (125) in Jhunjhunu and 18 (133) in Alwar district, the reply said. It also stated training programmes for the financial year 2022-23 were going on.
The minister gave this reply responding to a question on the status of implementation of PM-Daksh scheme in Rajasthan, number of persons who have graduated from various skill training programmes in the state and the number of persons who got full-time placement after evaluation.
