Jaipur: District collector Prakash Rajpurohit said all beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan Yojana are required to get e-KYC done on PM Kisan Portal before August 31.
He informed that farmers can get e-KYC done on the basis of OTP on PM Kisan Mobile App or PM Kisan portal for free or get their e-KYC done through the CSC concerned.
“The work of e-KYC verification is required to be completed by August 31. In case of non-completion of e-KYC, the next installment will not be payable to the farmers,” said the collector.
Under the scheme, the family of the farmer is eligible for annual financial assistance of Rs 6,000 from the government of India.
The amount is paid in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each and transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
Small and marginal farmers are eligible for the PM Kisan scheme.tnn
