Jaipur: In the absence of any social media policy for government-run accounts like @CMORajasthan, @RajGovOfficial, and department-specific 60 accounts, it raises uncertainty regarding the fate of the posts on these accounts in the event of a change in government on December 3. These accounts follow chief minister Ashok Gehlotand his 10–15 ministers.It contains announcements of schemes and promotions centred on the pictures of Gehlot and his respective ministers.
When the Congress government came to power in 2018, it deleted all posts made by former chief minister Vasundhara Raje from the RajGovOfficial account. Additionally, the account unfollowed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders. The chief accounts of the CM office are CMO Rajasthan, which is followed by 2.3 million people, and RajGovOfficial, which is followed by 2 million followers. TNN
