Jaisalmer: A man’s body recovered from Indira Gandhi canal in Ramgarh police station area of Jaisalmer district on Saturday led to protests by family and community members, who alleged that five persons had murdered him. Police and administration officials held several rounds of talks on Sunday and managed to persuade the family members to take the body from the mortuary.
The deceased was identified as Bhimaram, resident of Kotda in Barmer district. tnn

One more arrested in connection with murder of 4-member family
One more person has been arrested in connection with the murders of four members of a family in Kallakinaru village in Tamil Nadu. The arrested person, I Selvam, is the elder brother of the prime accused Rajkumar. Selvam was aiding the murderers and was involved in an accident while attempting to evade the police. He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Earlier, Rajkumar, his father, and two other individuals were arrested in connection with the murders.
