Quality Certification: 6 Health Units Get Quality Certification From Centre | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Six public health facilities of the state under National Quality Assurance Standards (NAQS) programme have received quality certification from the Centre. The facilities underwent external assessment by the empanelled NQAS external assessors. Among those certified are three in Bikaner, one each in Rajsamand, Bundi and Jalore.
In the external assessment, health and wellness centre (HWC) Uttamdesar (Bikaner) secured 89% score, HWC Grandhi (Bikaner) secured 95% score, HCW Dudiwali (Bikaner) secured 86%, Primary health centre (PHC) Tal (Rajsamand) secured 74.7% score, PHC Bansi (Bundi) secured 79.1% score, urban primary health centre Lal Pole (Jalore) secured 86.7% score.
The external assessment was based on service provision, patient rights, inputs, support services, clinical services, infection control, quality management and outcome.
In the external assessment, it was that the six facilities were performing well in care in pregnancy and childbirth, neonatal and infant health services, childhood and adolescent health services, family planning, management of communicable diseases, management of non-communicable diseases, and in distribution of drugs and diagnostics.
With six more health facilities, the number of health facilities rose to 153 medical institutions which has received the AQAS certification.
National health mission (state) mission director Jitendra Kumar Soni said every year the health centres are intensively inspected by the national level external assessment monitors and as per the criteria set by the Union Health Ministry, the institutions which get the best marks by examining various parameters are given the certificate and fixed incentive amount.

Two criminals in Nashik have been externed by the city police for a year as part of a crackdown against habitual offenders. The individuals, identified as Nikhil Pawar and Salman Pathan, have allegedly been assaulting and extorting money from innocent people in the Satpur and Nashik Road areas.
