Quality Of Life: 27-year-old Resident Doc Of Sms Hosp Ends Life | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A 27-year-old female resident doctor at SMS Medical College allegedly took her own life on Friday and died during treatment on Saturday. SHO (Shastri Nagar) Kishore Singh identified the deceased as Sana Khan, a resident of New Delhi and a first-year master’s student.
He explained that she was on duty at Kanwatiya Hospital on Friday evening when she injected herself with anaesthesia, causing her health to deteriorate.
“Prima facie evidence indicates that she used anaesthesia injections, but further investigation is ongoing,” he said.
The hospital administration took swift action, and upon seeing her condition worsen, she was transferred to SMS Hospital. She was admitted to the ICU ward and received treatment. Unfortunately, early on Saturday morning, she passed away during the treatment.
Police stated that based on the initial investigation, her death appeared to be a suicide.

A 65-year-old man, Vyankat Dhopare, committed suicide by jumping into the Indrayani river in Alandi. A suicide note recovered from his house revealed that he was frustrated over his son’s unemployment and the lack of reservation for the Maratha community. Dhopare’s son found the note after his father left the house on Friday. Police started a search operation but only found the body on Saturday.
