Quality Of Life: Misleading Claims By Cong: Rathore | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Accusing the Congress government of misleading people on Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), opposition leader Rajendra Rathore said that the project, which could have supplied water to 60% of the state population, was derailed due to a dispute between chief minister Ashok Gehlot and the then Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath.
In a presser at BJP headquarters Jaipur, Rathore said, “Congress has launched a campaign, Jan Jagran Yatra, politicising the ERCP by spreading lies that the central government has not supported them. It is the dispute between the two Congress CMs that has stalled the project.” He reminded the media that Congress’s Kamal Nath was the first to object to giving NOC to Rajasthan. “Till now nothing has happened except announcements,” said Rathore.
