Jaipur: The secretary for women and child development department, Jitendra Upadhyay on Friday conducted a review meeting regarding a CRPF women bikers rally, ‘Yashaswini’, which will be in the state from October 21-24.
CRPF along with the ministry of women and child development, Government of India is organising a bike rally across the country to spread awareness about the importance of girl child and celebrate the power of women.
The rally that started on October 5 will continue till October 31, and it will enter Rajasthan on October 21 through Alwar district. A special program will also be organised at Albert Hall on October 22, which will be attended by Governor Kalraj Mishra. The bike rally will halt at Alwar, Ajmer, Udaipur in the state. TNN
