Rail Lines: New Rail Lines Approved for Rajasthan: Pushkar-Merta and Ras-Merta Railway Lines | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Union government on Wednesday approved two railway lines for Rajasthan, the Pushkar-Merta and Ras-Merta railway lines. Ashwini Vaishnaw, union railway minister informed Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari about the development over a phone call.
“The railway line projects will prove to be a far-reaching step for the development of Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituency.After the completion of Pushkar-Merta railway line, passengers will be able to get direct train services from Bikaner to Ajmer and Udaipur,” said Kumari.
Devotees coming to the religious city of Pushkar and Ren Peeth of Ramsnehi sect will also be able to get rail facilities from Pushkar-Merta railway line.
The MP further said that with the construction of the rail line between Ras and Merta, thousands of workers working in the cement industry will benefit.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspects the major redevelopment work at Yeshwantpur Railway Station in Bengaluru, which is being developed as a world-class station with an investment of Rs 377 crore. The station will have a roof plaza with a children’s play area and space for selling products. Vaishnaw emphasizes the importance of the station, as it caters to train traffic from various cities. He highlights Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to connect both sides of the city through the station. The minister also emphasizes the need for future expansion to accommodate the expected increase in traffic.
