Raj: Bjp Will Not Declare Cm Face For Assembly Polls In Raj, Shah Tells Leaders | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda made it clear at a meeting with the party’s state core committee here on Wednesday that the party would not declare a chief ministerial candidate before the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.
According to sources, Shah and Nadda said at the three-hour-long meeting that started at 8:30pm that “lotus, the symbol of BJP, will be the party’s face” for the yearend polls. Detailed discussions were held on all categories of seats – A, B, C and D – at the meeting, said a senior party leader.
“Naddajee and Shahjee told the state leaders that the party is contesting these polls without any CM face and that after the polls, the parliamentary board will decide on the CM face,” added the leader. During a review of the party’s recently held Parivartan Sankalp Yatra (PSY), areas where it failed to attract sizeable crowds were also up for discussion. “The seats discussed were of Shekhawati, Wangad, Merwara, Mewar and Hadoti regions. The delegation reportedly informed Nadda of their decision and highlighted the insults made towards their party’s namesake. The AIADMK leader stated that the BJP must now decide what is best for their future.

Ram Gopal Yadav, the general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, predicts a crushing defeat for the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Mizoram. Yadav also criticizes the BJP for its handling of the Women’s Reservation Bill and highlights neglect of sports facilities and hospitals in Saifai, the village of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav.
