Then president Kovind not invited for foundation laying of new Parliament building as he is ‘untouchable’: Kharge
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has alleged that former president Ram Nath Kovind was not invited for the foundation laying of the new Parliament building due to his caste. Kharge also criticized the government for not inviting President Droupadi Murmu for the inauguration while inviting actors. He questioned the BJP’s intention behind the women’s reservation bill, stating that it was proposed ahead of elections due to opposition unity. Kharge further claimed that Prime Minister Modi pitches four candidates against the Congress – one each from BJP, ED, Income Tax Department, and CBI.
