Raj Sees Rain, Hailstorm For 6th Time In March | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Mild to moderate showers accompanied by lightning and hailstorm were witnessed at many places in the state on Thursday evening. A drop of almost 5 degrees Celsius was recorded across the state on average.
After a bright sunny day, the weather changed dramatically in the evening, especially in Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Pali, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Dholpur, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Kota, Bundi, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur and Karauli districts. This was the sixth spell of rainfall, hailstorm and lightning in the state. Farmers have already suffered crop damage due to inclement weather. The wheat crop has been badly damaged. People in Jaipur woke up to a comparatively warmer morning when a minimum temperature of 22.1°C was recorded. It was followed by a pleasant afternoon with a maximum temperature of 32.8°C.
