Rajasthan: Chittorgarh police detain three after murder of former councillor’s son | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The Chittorgarh police detained three suspects after a 32-year-old man was murdered Tuesday night under the Kotwali police station area.
The district administration and the local police said that suspects were rounded up and patrolling measures have been intensified.
The police have identified the victim as Ratan Soni.
“The victim was the son of a former councillor,” said Chandra Prakash Joshi, Chittorgarh MP.
Joshi said that several markets remained closed on Wednesday and compensation for the victim’s family has been demanded.
Rajasthan police said that efforts are under way to track down all the accused.
