Rajasthan: Congress leader Rameshwar Dudi suffers brain haemorrhage, critical | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Congress leader and Rajasthan State Agro Industries Development Board chairman Rameshwar Dudi suffered brain haemorrhage on Sunday.
He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Mansarovar. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot reached the hospital and also called SMS hospital’s doctors and held a brief meeting with them. Following this, Dudi was rushed to SMS hospital from the private hospital.
“We took him directly into the operation theatre and conducted the surgery and removed hematoma prevent further bleeding,” said Dr Achal Sharma, medical superintendent, SMS Hospital, under whom the surgery was performed.
The doctors have stated his condition as “critical”. He has been shifted to ICU after the surgery, where he is yet to regain consciousness.
Dudi was taking treatment for hypertension and also he had undergone coronary bypass surgery in the past.
Dr Sharma said, they have constituted a board of doctors comprising cardiologist, neuro-surgeon, medicine and other specialty doctors to monitor his health.
