KOTA: A 35-year-old farmer was killed on the spot while his brother sustained severe head injury after the two were beaten up by a few people over a land dispute in Damdar village under Jawar police station in Jhalawar district on Thursday.
Police recovered the body and handed it over to family members after post-mortem on Friday morning and booked at least 7 persons including a woman for murder under sections of IPC.
The deceased was identified as Hari Singh Bheel, a resident of Damdar village under Jawar police station of Jhalawar district. The deceased and the seven accused of a family were tangled in dispute over agriculture land, said Jawar SHO Vijendra Singh.
