The National Centre for Seismology shared the datas available for the reported earthquake that took place in Nepal in a span of almost an hour on Tuesday.
“The first earthquake was recorded at 2.25 pm which had a magnitude of 2.25 on the Richter scale. It was followed by another earthquake that occurred at 2.51 pm and had a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale, 3.6 at 3.06 pm and 3.1 at 3.19 pm,” said an officer. TNN
As an impact, people in Bharatpur, Deeg, Alwar, Jaipur, Sikar, Dausa, Jhunjhunu and some parts of western Rajasthan also witnessed tremors. TNN

5.2 magnitude earthquake hits Meghalaya
A magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in Meghalaya and nearby states, including Assam, West Bengal, and Sikkim. The tremor occurred in the North Garo Hills district at a depth of 10 km. There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage. The northeastern states are prone to earthquakes due to being in a high seismic zone.
