Rajasthan Mega Job Fair: Mega Job Fair To Be Held In Sawai Madhopur On May 13 | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The seventh ‘Rajasthan Mega Job Fair’ will be organised by the department of skill, planning and entrepreneurship in Sawai Madhopur on May 13.
Commissioner Renu Jaipal launched the registration QR code for the fair at the RSLDC headquarters in Jhalana Institutional Area on Tuesday. The code was sent to Sawai Madhopur district collector. Earlier, mega job fairs were organised in Jaipur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer and Banswara.
As many as 25 companies from eight different sectors will participate in the fair with 8,000 job opportunities. Candidates can scan and register themselves with the help of the QR code. The fair will start from 9am and will continue till 4pm.
Out of 1 lakh participants of the mega job fairs held in six districts so far, as many as 23,500, or 23.5 per cent of the total, have received appointment letters from private companies, said PC Kishan, secretary of the skill, employment and entrepreneurship department.
As many as 2.29 lakh candidates had registered themselves for these fairs organised in Jaipur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer and Banswara. “The highest package offered to a candidate in Banswara was Rs 6 lakh per annum. The highest package offered to a candidate in these mega fairs so far was Rs 12 lakh per annum. We have a target of generating 1.5 lakh jobs through these mega fairs,” he added. Jobs are being offered to the candidates in textiles, IT, manufacturing, automobiles and financial sectors, said Kishan.
