Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas slams BJP for ‘disrespecting’ national anthem | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: Food and civil supplies minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas on Monday alleged that BJP MLAs were shouting slogans during the playing of the national anthem in the assembly.
Speaking to media, Khachariyawas said the Opposition MLAs continued their sloganeering when the national anthem was being played.
He demanded an apology from the BJP national presidents for the party MLAs’ irresponsible behaviour. He alleged that the ‘Rashtra bhati’ of BJP has been exposed and they have nothing to do with the nation or its people. It only practices politics based on lies and deceit, he alleged.
The minister alleged that the Opposition MLAs were worried about the success of the development work and public welfare schemes of the government, which was why they did not allow the Governor to address the Assembly.
