Rajasthan needs govt that follows ‘bulldozer policy’: ABVP | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The national secretary of ABVP, Yajnavalkya Shukla, on Tuesday said that a government that follows the “bulldozer policy” is needed in Rajasthan, hinting at examples witnessed in Uttar Pradesh.
He said that the state needs a government that takes strict action against culprits so that paper leaks and crimes against women can be reduced.
ABVP representatives during a media briefing said that before the assembly elections the student body will conduct discussions with youths including at the panchayat level to understand what kind of government they want. ABVP said that they will organize street meetings and Chhatra Panchayat Jagran in the coming days.
“Rajasthan, the land of heroes, where huge wars and sacrifices have been fought for the dignity of women in history, has degraded under the Congress rule. In past five years, neither women are safe and dreams of youth have also been crushed with several incidents of paper leaks. A government that follows bulldozer policy is needed in Rajasthan so that those committing crimes like this will fear before even thinking of committing a crime,” said Shukla.
He said that the Congress government only focused on benefits to their own leaders and did not take strict action against those committing crimes.
“The son of cabinet minister Mahesh Joshi is accused of rape, and in this state even an FIR is not registered against him. The victim has to go to Delhi and lodge an FIR. Police is not able to arrest a Congress MLA’s nephew in a case of sexual harassment of a woman. This raises a question on law and order and puts Rajasthan to shame,” he added.
