Earlier, addressing a large crowd at Nimhahera to mark the birthday of former MLA Srichand Kriplani, former CM Vasundhara Raje said, “Congress leader Sonia Gandhi said that she is worried about the women of Manipur. But she forgets that Congress-ruled Rajasthan is ranked first in the country in women atrocities, Dalit atrocities, corruption and unemployment.”
In a tweet on Sunday, CM Vasundhara Raje said that Congress leader Sonia Gandhi expressed concern about the condition of women in Manipur but did not care for the condition of women in Rajasthan. In response to Raje’s barb on Gandhi, Lodha tweeted, “Your friend @narendramodi when Manipur was burning then why did he go out to visit the world? Why didn’t you speak on Sengar and Braj Bhushan?”
Lodha, who is an advisor to CM Ashok Gehlot, accused Raje of not speaking in the assembly even once in 5 years. “Some people even today call her Queen or Empress. She was chief minister two times, and her best contribution was in increasing corruption in the state,” said Lodha.
