Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday announced Rs 147 crore for the upcoming Rajiv Gandhi Centre for IT and Good Governance to initiate reforms in governance. The centre was announced in the state Budget for 2023. Of the total allocation, Rs 100 crore has been allocated for 2023-24. The institute will be developed at Khaitan Polytechnic College at Jhalana in Jaipur.
The institute will develop a digital ecosystem like blockchain, cyber security, ISMS and data security. “The institute will help in progress of educational, industrial, start-ups etc in the state. It will run short-term courses on the said subjects,” said the source. tnn
