Ranthambore: Nadda To Launch Bjp’s ‘parivartan Yatra’ From Ranthambore On Sep 2 | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: BJP national president JP Nadda will flag off the first phase of the party’s four-phase ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in Rajasthan at Trinetra Ganesh temple in Ranthambore in Sawai Madhopur district on September 2. The yatra will cover all the 200 assembly segments and a total distance of 8,500 km.
Union home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, and Union road and transport minister Nitin Gadkari will launch the second, third and fourth phases of the yatra respectively, said Narayan Pancharia, the convener of the election management committee, on Friday.
“The yatra will be taken out under the collective leadership of the state leaders,” said Pancharia. The party had earlier planned to assign the charge of the yatra to four leaders—state president CP Joshi, Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former CM Vasundhara Raje, and former state president Satish Poonia. “The central leaders want all of them to be together at the launch of these yatras,” said a BJP source.
The yatra aims to reach out to farmers, youths, women, and Dalits. “During the yatra, kisan choupals, youth motorcycle rallies, women’s meeting, and Dalit choupals will also be organised in almost all constituencies. The idea is to expose Congress’s betrayal of farmers, youths, women, and Dalits,” said Panchariya. The co-convenor of the Election Management Committee, Onkar Singh Lakhawat, said the first phase of the yatra will cover 47 assembly segments in 18 days, covering 1,847 km in Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions along with Tonk district. The second phase will start in Beneshwar Dham, Banswara, under the leadership of Amit Shah on September 3 and cover 2,433 km in 19 days. It will reach out to 52 assembly constituencies in Udaipur and Kota divisions, said Lakhawat.
The third phase will start in Ramdevra, Jaisalmer, on September 4 under the leadership of Rajnath Singh and cover 2,574 km in 18 days, reaching out to 51 assembly constituencies in Jodhpur and Ajmer divisions. The fourth phase will start in Gogamedi, Hanumangarh, on September 5 under the leadership of Nitin Gadkari. Former CM Vasundhara Raje said on Friday that discoms are in debt of more than Rs 90,000 crore, which has resulted into the collapse of power system in the state.
