Rehab Centres For Women In Division Hqs | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, while replying to a budget debate on Friday, announced setting up of rehabilitation centres, in collaboration with NGOs, for women who are mentally challenged in all the divisional headquarters. He also said special schools for specially-abled persons will be opened in all the districts.
In addition to this, the chief minister has announced stamp duty exemption for specially-abled persons who are 80 per cent disabled. The chief minister also announced that 500 toilets will be built in public places and market places of urban areas. He further added toilets and community sanitary complexes will be built in villages with more than 5,000 population.
The CM also allocated Rs 2,600 crore for construction and upgrading of roads, bridges and ROBs across the state. He had also announced that villages in tribal and desert areas with a population of more than 250 will have asphalt roads. The CM said Rs 4,674 crore will be spent on tap water connections for 3 lakh families in 1,473 villages of Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand districts.
