The JioPhone Prima 4G is here. Reliance Jio has unveiled its latest 4G phone — JioPhone Prime 4G. The company showcased the upcoming feature phone at Indian Mobile Congress 2023 (IMC).

The telco has announced that the new JioPhone Prime 4G will be available around Diwali. As reported by The Economic Times, the feature phone is said to be priced at Rs 2,599.
JioPhone Prima 4G specifications
The JioPhone Prima 4G comes with a 2.4-inch TFT display with 320×240 pixel resolution. The feature phone features a 0.3MP front facing camera for selfies.
The 4G feature phone comes with pre-installed apps such as WhatsApp and YouTube. The phone sports a rear camera with LED flash. The JioPhone Prima offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and FM radio. Jio’s latest 4G feature phone comes with pre-installed mobile apps including JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews, and the JioPay UPI payments app.
The JioPhone Prima 4G is powered by the ARM Cortex A53 chipset paired with 512GB RAM. The phone packs 128GB internal storage. The feature phone runs the KaiOS mobile operating system and it is backed by an 1800 mAh battery.
Additionally, Reliance Jio unveiled its MR glasses, known as Jio Glass, at the recent India Mobile Congress (IMC 2023) in New Delhi. The company originally introduced Jio Glass at its 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2020. During last year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC 2022), Prime Minister Narendra Modi had the opportunity to experience 5G use cases through Jio Glass at the company’s exhibition. This year, once again, the company proudly showcased its inaugural smart glasses at the Reliance Jio booth.
Jio Glass incorporates Mixed Reality (MR), a blend of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). MR creates an interactive environment by merging physical reality with digital content, allowing for interaction between real-world and virtual objects.
