Repair Work: Sms Med College Tells Students Not To Use Badminton Court On Campus |

Jaipur: The badminton court at the Sawai Man Singh Medical College has deteriorated to a perilous state, potentially jeopardizing the safety of sports enthusiasts. Instead of repairing it, the college has issued a letter urging players to refrain from using the facility.
The college has warned that players would be held accountable for any injuries sustained while using the court.
This situation presents a stark contradiction, as the National Medical Commission (NMC) actively encourages sports activities among medical students to combat study-related stress.
Reacting on it, an SMS medical college official said, “The repair work of the badminton court will start soon. We are working on it.”
The wooden flooring of the badminton court is broken from different places and it is not visible due to green turf mat over it. Hence students fear there are chances of getting hurt from the broken flooring.
