Ritik Boxer: From Local Muscleman To A Dreaded Outlaw | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Ritik Thakurani (20), alias Ritik Boxer, was first booked by Jaipur police in 2019 for thrashing and robbing a man of Rs 20,000. It was only last month that he began to scout for bigger targets.
Police on Saturday booked Ritik for firing at Days Hotel, a few hours after he owned up to the shooting through a social media message.
In March last year, the accused was booked by Shipra Path police for allegedly attacking a man at the SFS intersection and vandalising his SUV after looting cash. “His activities were confined to beating people and robbing cash,” said an official.
The gangster is now wanted in a total of eight cases, but he managed to ward off police’s suspicions for a long time. It was after December 10, that the Rajasthan police found that Ritik was making a foray into organised crime.
“Three gunmen had fired at a grain trader’s shop in Hanumangarh district on December 10. Subsequent investigation revealed that Ritik had organised the hit through his aides,” an official said.
Jaipur police said the firing in Hanumangarh and at the Days Hotel on Saturday had many similarities like three-bike borne young men firing quickly and in tandem before setting off at high speed. Jaipur police said that Ritik specialised in organised attacks that easily stir panic. “Most of his attacks are after 9pm and before 8am. His men fire relentlessly and leave after warning traders,” said an official.
Police also said sometime around December last year, Ritik came in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
