Jaipur: The Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) signed an agreement with four new companies – Dhone India Service Pvt Ltd, Employability Bridge, Welspun India Pvt Ltd and Anil Agarwal Foundation – to provide employment to youths at the Rajasthan mega job fairs, said Renu Jaipal, commissioner, department of skill, planning and entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, out of 11,500 youths, who attended the Jodhpur job fair on May 23 and 24, 4,622 got offer letters on the spot, said P C Kishan, secretary, department of skill, planning and entrepreneurship. He said 35,000 youths had registered themselves for the job fair. Of the total, 11,500 youths came for the interviews.
Jodhpur resident Vivek got the highest annual package of Rs 9 lakh at the mega job fair. Adiyogi Technosoft Pvt Ltd offered him a job as a software engineer. Vivek will get to work for the company in his hometown itself.
Minister of state (MoS) for skill, planning and entrepreneurship Ashok Chandna said Rajasthan was the leading state in the country in providing employment to youths in the private and government sector. The state government has created a favorable environment for investment in the private sector by formulating special policies, due to which employment opportunities are being created on a large scale.
