Rth: Pvt Hospitals Divided Over Rth Bill | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: The joint action committee against right to health (RTH) bill, a body of private hospitals protesting against RTH has postponed protest against the state government after its assurance of incorporating all suggestions and objections in RTH bill, but the Private Hospitals And Nursing Homes Society (PHNHS) on Monday threatened to call for a complete bandh of private hospitals on March 16.
“The representation of the private hospitals in the state was negligible among those who held talks with the government and all the private hospitals of the state completely disagree with the stand of the amended RTH bill of this so-called delegation. We don’t want the RTH bill tabled in the state assembly,” said Dr Vijay Kapoor, secretary PHNHS.
Dr Kapoor said that if the government does not withdraw this bill, there will be an indefinite medical shutdown and complete boycott of all government schemes in the entire state. TNN
