2 Killed, 23 Hurt As Tractor Trolley Overturns In Barmer District | Jaipur News
Jaisalmer: Two men died and 23 others were injured when a tractor trolley in which they were travelling in overturned in Chauhatan police station area of Barmer district late on Saturday evening.
The incident took place at Chandaniyon ka Tala Kaprau. A police team reached the spot and took the injured to a hospital at Chauhatan. As many as 35 people were in the tractor trolley, and they were returning to their village after attending a funeral when the trolley lost control and overturned. A few of the passengers got buried under the trolley, said police.
The two dead people were identified as Khemaram, 32, and Budharam, 48, both residents of Mate ka Tala, while undergoing treatment.
Chauhatan police station SHO Bhutaram said nine of the injured people were referred to the district hospital, and the rest are under treatment at the hospital at Chauhatan.
