Sachin Pilot: Papad Hanumanji Temple Panel Calls Off Stir After Meeting Pilot | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Papad Hanuman ji temple committee has decided to call off their agitation after meeting former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot on Friday.
They have been agitating to change the route of the safari track being built by the forest department to be diverted to Swarn Jayanti Park instead of the temple premises. A delegation on Friday led by Congress leader Mahendra Singh Khedi met Pilot and requested for a solution. Pilot talked to forest and environment minister Hemaram Chaudhary and asked for a solution to the problem.
The high officials of the forest department held a meeting and assured that there will be no tampering with the temple premises during the construction of the safari track. tnn

Forest officials sound alert after elephants seen crossing railway tracks in Chakulia
Forest officials in the Chakulia range of Jamshedpur have issued an alert after two elephants were spotted crossing railway tracks. They have requested the Kharagpur railway division to regulate train speeds in the area and to consider barricading the tracks. This comes after several instances of elephants being run over by trains in the Kolhan division. Two teams have been deployed to drive the elephants back into the forest, as they have caused damage in nearby villages.
