Jaipur: Upen Yadav, who contested as BJP candidate but lost to Congress’s Manish Yadav from Shahpura constituency, on Monday resigned as president of Rajasthan Berozgar Ekikrit Mahasangh. Ashok Choudhary has been appointed as president in his place. Yadav got only 11,233 votes in the Shahpura election. TNN

BJP leads on 55 seats, Congress on 33 seats in Chhattisgarh.
