Bsp Takes Out Rally To Protest Dalit Girl’s Gangrape, Murder | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Saturday took out a rally and protested the gangrape and murder of 20-year-old Dalit girl in Todabhim, Karauli. BSP state president Bhagwan Singh Baba demanded arrest of all the accused in three days and warned of ‘big’ agitation in Jaipur. Apart from arrests of the culprits, BSP demanded the matter to be referred to a fast-track court, a compensation of Rs 1 crore for the family of the deceased, a government job for one of the family members and to provide security to the family.
“We wanted to meet the family members of the girl, but some people have captured them inside their house. We have taken a decision after meeting representatives of all communities to submit a memorandum to the SDM on Sunday,” said Baba.
Slamming Rajasthan government, BSP chief Mayawati tweeted, “The case of Dalit harassment/murder in Rajasthan is very painful and a matter of great shame for the state government there. No amount of condemnation is enough for the well-planned casteist incident of abducting and killing a Dalit girl and throwing her body burnt with acid into a well in Karauli district.”
