Kota: Targeting the state government’s flagship Mahatma Gandhi Government English schools, the principal of one such school at Chandkhari in Khanpur block of Jhalawar on Tuesday shot a letter to chief block education officer declaring holiday of classes 6 and 10 due to rainwater filled classrooms and mosquitoes.
The letter went viral on Wednesday inviting criticism on the infrastructure of the much hyped government English schools.
“The students of the school have refused to sit in classrooms of classes 6 and 10 due to stagnated water and mosquitoes,” principal Naresh Kumar wrote to the CBEO, Khanpur.
CBEO Khanpur Mohanlal Rathore said, “The school is run in a limited space. However, efforts are underway to improve the condition.”
