Sexual Harassment: Woman Alleges Sexual Harassment By Assistant Prof | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A 21-year-old woman has accused an assistant professor of a government college of sexual harassment.
In her FIR to the Gandhi Nagar police station on Friday, the woman alleged that she was acquainted with the assistant professor and that he took her to a place on October 1 on the pretext of some work.
He then took her into a car and headed towards a house, promising to help her with her studies. She said that the accused then closed the door and began to harass her by hugging her.
She also alleged that the accused touched her inappropriately.
She pushed him back and confronted him for his behavior. She alleged that the accused then dropped her to her hostel and admitted to taking her to his place with wrong intentions.
She also said that when she later confronted him before her friends, he reportedly admitted to his mistakes.
The police said that the girl in her FIR has claimed that the accused has been acquainted with her family for the past four years.
The police said that they have filed FIR against the accused under IPC Section 354 (sexual harassment) and sections of the SC/ST Act.
