Jaipur: Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat courted a fresh controversy over a 19-second video over his statement on Eastern Rajasthan Canal which went viral on Monday. The video reportedly from minister’s visit in Sawai Madhopur on Sunday shows him saying, “I will give you Rs 46,000 crore for ERCP, you establish the rule of Rajendra Rathore.” Reacting to the video, Lokesh Sharma, OSD to CM tweeted, “Your power-hungry politics came to the fore through this viral video in which you are speaking about ERCP.” tnn
