Sikar: Sikar Girl Found Dead, Family Says Murder, Cops Term It Accident | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A 17-year-old Class 12 girl who had gone to her friend’s house was found dead under mysterious circumstances on a road under Laxmangarh police station area of Sikar on Thursday evening. The family has alleged that the girl was drugged, raped and later murdered.
The family has also accused her woman friend who took her along and filed a named FIR against four persons. Police, however, said that matter primarily appears to be an accident.
Her family members alleged that she was taken to a resort where she was raped.
“Prima facie it appears to be a case of accident. The girl was on a bike with a boy and was wearing a burqa when the accident took place. But whether she was raped earlier will be investigated. Everything will be clear after post-mortem,” said Sikar SP Karan Sharma. The matter came to light when three minor boys had taken the girl to hospital in Laxmangarh on Thursday afternoon. “They only called up the family members stating that the girl was killed in the accident. We will also go through the detailed medical report,” said Sharma. “We are going through the CCTV footage of the place where the body of the girl was found. Two minors, who according to the family are suspects, are being interrogated,” he added.
